Good Food Here NOT Closing and News

July 6, 2014

Got word this weekend that the southeast Portland food cart pod Good Food Here is not closing as was previously reported. The property sale did not go through, so at this time, there is no plans to close the pod by summer's end. We'll continue to track the movement of vendors if and when that takes place.

The Oregonian released its Top 10 new Food Carts for year so far. A great list including some of my favorites including Ash Wood Fires, Burrasca, Mama Chow's Kitchen, and THICK. They event showcased a vendor from Carlton, deep in wine country. Road trip ensues. Whole article here

Summer is here indeed, so remember, if it is 90 outside, it is 110 inside the food cart or truck, so give your favorite food vendor a break on really hot days. They may decide to close early.

Enjoy!
