Some tidbits for early December:

A few carts have decided to close up shop for the winter:
  • The Big Egg will close December 11 and reopen February 2.
  • DC Vegetarian will be closed December 22nd to January 15.
  • Artigiano will close December 11 and reopen February 7 at new location
  • The Sugar Cube is closed for winter
  • PDX671 is closed until February 6
  • El Cubo de Cuba, both locations, are closed until January 2
  • Slice Brick Oven Pizza is closed and may re-open in the summer.
  • Koi Fusion has taken it's truck off the lot at D-Street for some repairs. Will return in January.
  • Give Pizza a Chance is closed until January 8
  • Sneaky Kitty is closed until spring
  • Wooster's is closed until spring

Some carts have decided to close. It kinda sucks to see it happen.
  • Noah's Filipino cart on SW 9th and Alder is for rent
  • Cackalack's Hot Chicken Shack is for sale
    as a turnkey business
  • Suzette on NE Alberta is for sale and includes a dining room. CL
  • Wicked Wing Shack is closed and no longer at D-Street Noshery

Other items:
  • Green Castle had an appeals hearing with the city today. Check back. We'll post any news about the city's decision.
  • Speaking of Green Castle, Bailey's Gourmet Hot Dogs has moved to D-Street Noshery at SE 32nd and Division
  • Cartopia is hosting movie nights on Tuesday evenings. Bring a blanket and enjoy some classics with some vittles from Pyro Pizza, Whiffies Fried Pies, Perierra Creperie or Potato Champion. SE 12th and Hawthorne. December 13, Home Alone marathon!

Big-Ass Sandwiches is celebrating two years in business with a big party at The Wonder Ballroom on December 10. The event will feature comedian Brian Posehn and musical guest and Portland rockers Red Fang. Also on the bill are Ron Funches & Ian Karmel. Should be a fun night. Tickets are only $12 or $15 at the door. More information.
