After many years serving Portland eaters some of the best sandwiches and soups money can by, Nancy Ettinger is moving on to another adventure. Nancy is the chef behind Savor Soup House on SW 10th and Alder, but fear not Savor fans, the cart isn’t closing. Nancy has found great new owners who have been working at the cart learning the menu and intend to continue the tradition of excellent soups and sandwiches made with locally sourced vegetables and love. Nancy, a mother of one is expecting a second soon and has decided to become a full time mother. Those kids are going to be spoiled with such an excellent chef in the kitchen. The change is happening quickly, so Wednesday may be your last day to say goodbye. Drop on by the cart, welcome the new owners and wish Nancy well on her next adventure.

This event is going to be huge. Its the first of an annual event in Troutdale/Gresham. They are giving away an LED Flat screen TV to one participant (drawing) just for voting for their favorite cart!
I’m excited to see the new energy at Savor. Adam and Colleen are stoked to be business owners and looking forward to working with other small local businesses to include more local food on the menu!
