30hourday-guest-125px30 Hour Day is here. Starting Friday at 4pm, Cami Kaos and Rick Turoczy will start their 30 Hour livestream to raise money for numerous charities including the Oregon Food Bank, Free Geek and Toys for Tots.  Such an amazing idea and perfect for this time of year. Throughout Friday afternoon and into Saturday morning and day, some of Portland’s best personalities will make appearances either live or taped – Mayor Sam Adams; Cort and Fatboy (formerly of KUFO); Stephanie Stricklen of KGW; Cooking tips from FoodGeeks.com; Back Fence PDX; and tons of live music and other variety acts.

Food Carts Portland will join in the fun sometime Saturday with some video we shot at Cartopia. Rick and Cami and friends may also get some tasty cart food. You’ll have to watch.

Also, Greg from Whiffies Pies is a sponsor and will be having a Pie Eating championship Saturday morning at 4am at the cart down on Hawthorne if anyone wants to join. Eat 5 pies, get a T-shirt.
