The Northwest Food and Wine Festival is this coming weekend at the Memorial Coliseum and we have 2 tickets to give away. While the festival probably won’t be showcasing any food carts, I know you, our readers, love food and probably love a little wine. So we’re having a contest.
If you would like two tickets for Saturday Nov. 14, drop us an email via the contact page telling us why you love the food carts in Portland. Make it between 150-300 words please. This contest will be open until 5pm Wednesday and a panel of esteemed judges will determine the winner and we’ll publish that story on Thursday (along with coordinating delivery of those tickets.) These tickets have a value of $95 each and get you into the festival Saturday afternoon for free wine and food tastings.

Being a farmer, I am inspired by qaulity food efficient preparation as I am always on the go. When I need a quick fix, I head toward The North Mississippi cart station where combinations of fresh, yumminess, creativity are located in a one stop eating location. Yet, I must praise the one…the Big Egg. The wrap was fanstatic and combined flavor and savor. The french toast – pure lusciousness! I love me some food carts!
