My husband and I SHARED a Honkin’ Huge ‘Salad’ (sans the tortilla) during 30 HOURS in Pioneer Square this weekend and were WOWED by it! We are natives and have never been to Shellys. That is going to change! A delicious, flavorful value! Met my healthful tastes as well as my husbands HONKIN’ tastebuds!

I had a Honking Huge burrito today and it was fantastic. Love the grilled tortilla. Love that there’s no big choices to make- when you’re hungry, no decisions- just get a HONKER!

Shelly’s has been a mainstay in my life in Portland for all of the 17 years she’s been at it. I quite literally lived on nothing else for a bit in my late teens, and I still enjoy going back once every few weeks for my meatless burrito fix. Shelly herself is a kick, and will make he experience all the better. I realize that this is the first comment on this post in over a year, but I thought it needed to be added.

I have been to Honkin’ Huge (what an apt name) and they are awesome. Fresh ingredients all the way. I don’t miss the meat at all. Thanks for shining some light their way.
